Configuration with Epic

Payments made through Applied Pay can generate Applied Epic transactions automatically, but you must update users’ security permissions to grant them access to the Applied Pay Portal. You can also change settings for users to show or hide payment options in Epic.

Security Permissions

You can grant or deny access to the payment portal for specific Epic users or groups using the General > General > Applied Pay Portal security permission on the Program Access tab of Configure > Security > Users or Configure > Security > Groups in Applied Epic. For detailed instructions on configuring security access, see the User Configuration or Group Configuration article in the Applied Epic help file.

You can access the payment portal through Epic by navigating to Access > Applied Pay Portal.

Limit Payment from Client Visibility (optional)

If you do not want the Payment from Client option to display for specific users or groups, you can hide it from them by adding System > Options Bar/Menu > New – Payment from Client to a visibility profile in Configure > Security > Visibility. For detailed instructions, see the Visibility Profile Configuration article in the Applied Epic help file.
