Branches
Branches are sub-structures within a brokerage.
If you import data from Applied Epic or Applied TAM, each branch in the
brokerage management system carries over to Applied CSR24.
In order to access this area, you must have View rights for Brokerage in the Level Setup
section in CSR Detail or Producer Detail. To use this feature, you must
have Add, Edit, and/or Delete rights.
To access this area:
- From insured detail, click Home
> System Admin > Branches.
- From any other area of the program, click Home
> System Admin > Branches on the options bar or
click System
Admin > Branches on the navigation panel.
Add a Branch
- Click Add.
- Enter the branch's Name
and Short
Name.
- Select the appropriate Brokerage.
- It is recommended not to modify the BrokerageID
field. This is populated by the data import and is used as a
way to help you identify this structure in your brokerage management
system.
- Select the branch's Location.
Available locations are those that have been entered in the Locations
area.
- Enter contact information in the Primary
Phone, Secondary Phone, Fax, and Email fields.
- Click Save
to add the branch or Cancel to discard
your changes.
Edit a Branch
- Locate the branch. To filter the list, expand the Search frame, type a portion of the branch's
Name or Short Name,
and click Find.
- Click any of the information in the list (the name, phone number,
or division) to open branch detail.
- Click Edit.
- Make any necessary changes. See the instructions above under Add a Branch for more information.
- Click Save
to apply your changes or Cancel to
discard them.
