Zip Vehicle Liability Card
In order to issue a Vehicle Liability Card for an insured, you must
first create a Vehicle Liability Card
template. Once that has been verified, continue with the steps below.
- Locate the
desired account.
- In the navigation panel, click Proofs
> Zip Vehicle Liability Card.
- A list of Vehicle Liability Card templates per policy
for the insured displays.
Note: Expired
templates are shown in red and marked with a single asterisk in the
far left column, while templates that include expired policies are
shown in red and marked with a double asterisk.
- Select the desired template
in the list. To search for templates:
- Click the Search
link to expand the Search
frame.
- Enter a portion of the Description
or Policy Number for
the item you wish to locate.
- Optionally narrow the result by Effective
Date, Expiration Date, LOB, Insured, Last Updated, or Status.
- Click Find.
To remove a filter that has been applied to the list, click Clear Filter.
To add a new template, click the Add button or click Edit
if any changes to the selected template are needed.
- Once all information is accurate, click the Save button.
- Click the Zip Vehicle Liability
Card button. To search for vehicles:
- Click the Search
link to expand the Search
frame.
- Enter a portion of the Description
or Policy Number for
the item you wish to locate.
- Optionally narrow the result by Effective
Date, Expiration Date, LOB, Insured, Last updated, or Status.
- Click Find.
To remove a filter that has been applied to the list, click Clear Filter.
- If the vehicle is not listed, click the Add
button.
- Enter the desired information.
Fields outlined in red
are required.
- Click Save
to save your changes.
Note:
Vehicles previously issued using this template will have the Attach checkbox selected. To
disassociate a vehicle, deselect the Attach
checkbox next to each vehicle.
- To issue the Vehicle Liability Cards individually:
- click the Arrow
button next to the appropriate vehicle.
To issue Vehicle Liability Cards in a batch:
- Click the dropdown menu above the Vehicles list and
choose to Issue All,
Issue None, Attach All, or Attach
None for the vehicles listed to issue.
- Click the
Continue button.
- If a vehicle
needs to be added, click Add.
- On the
Vehicle – Quick Add
screen, enter the desired information. Fields outlined in
red are required.
- In the
Fleet Details
section, check the Fleet checkbox
if this is a Fleet vehicle being added. Click the Select Text link
to choose from a list or enter the text manually.
- Enter
information in the State
Requirements section if the state in which the Vehicle
Liability Card is being issued for has specific state requirements.
- Once
all information has been entered, click Save.
Vehicles
previously issued using this template will have the Attach
checkbox checked. To disassociate a vehicle, uncheck the Attach
checkbox next to each vehicle.
- Whether issuing an individual card or a batch, a Confirmation page
displays.
- To view the card prior to issuance, click the Preview button.
- Click the Edit
button to make any changes.
- Click the Issue
button or the Issue
and Deliver button, depending on whether you want to issue
the cards with or without distributing them. Click
the Back
button to return to the Vehicles
list.
- If you click Issue,
you are brought into the Zip Vehicle Liability Card Cards workflow.
- If you click Issue and Deliver,
the email and fax information located on the vehicle is used for
the distribution.
- A
Delivery Information page displays indicating who the Vehicle
Liability Cards were sent to and the results of the delivery.
- Vehicle Liability Cards delivered by email contain a PDF
attachment that can be opened in a PDF viewer, and a PKPASS
attachment that can be double clicked to add the ID to a wallet
app.
