Certificate Naming Structure

In this area, you can customize the file name structure for issued certificate PDFs. The naming structures you configure automatically apply to the file name when you or another user issues a certificate. You can create multiple naming profiles and assign them on a per-insured basis.

Add a Certificate Name Format

  1. Click the Add button on the options bar.
  2. Enter a Name for the naming structure.
  3. To set this name format as the default for all insureds, select the Default Cert Naming Structure checkbox.
  4. Select the checkbox for each field to include in the naming structure.
  5. The fields display in the certificate file name in the same order in which they display in the list. Click and drag your selected fields to reorder them.
  6. Click Save to add the certificate name format.

To edit an existing format, select it in the list and update its Name, default status, and included fields. Then click Save.

Delete a Certificate Name Format

  1. Select the certificate name format.
  2. Click Delete on the options bar.

You cannot delete the default certificate name format.
