You can respond to an eDoc & Message from your insurer using Reverse Alerts! so that sensitive policy information can be exchanged in a secure and reliable manner. Contact TSrequests@appliedsystems.com to request that Reverse Alerts! be activated on your account. Then, run Account Update to set up the appropriate company codes for each Reverse Alert product.
To send a Reverse Alert!:
Click the Real-Time button
on the options bar. The Real-Time
Interface screen displays.
Note: Real-Time
functionality is available for Marketed policies.
Select the Policies radio button.
Select Reverse Alerts! from the Commands dropdown.
Change the policies and/or columns that display in the list if necessary.
Choose the policy or line for which
you need to send a Reverse Alert!.
Note: The
Real-Time Interface screen
displays the policy, line, Carrier Submission, or claim you have open
when you access Real-Time from the Policies or Claims areas.
Highlight the applicable issuing company in the Available Carriers list.
You can change the default company contract number or IBC code for your session if necessary (if the company has multiple contract numbers or IBC codes configured).
Click the Details link. The Reverse Alerts! Detail pop-up displays.
Select a Reverse Alert! type from the Type dropdown.
If desired, add a message in the Note field.
Click the Finish button on the Reverse Alerts! Detail pop-up.
On the Real-Time Interface screen, click Go.
The Real-Time Transactions Results screen displays once the transaction has finished processing. Review any information on the screen.
Click Finish to accept the results when you are done or Cancel to exit without further action.
