Change Opportunity Group

  1. Locate the account in question and access the Opportunities area. 
  2. A list of opportunities for the selected client displays. Change the opportunities that display in the list if necessary. 
  1. Click to highlight the opportunity whose stage you wish to change and do one of the following:  

Note: You can also change an opportunity’s stage directly from the Home screen by right clicking it in the Opportunities menu and selecting Change Stage Group.

  1. The Change Opportunity Stage Group pop-up window displays. Select a Group from the dropdown menu.
  2. Select the correct Stage from the dropdown menu.

    Note: Only the Stages in the selected Stage Group are available for selection in the Stage dropdown menu.
  3. If needed, update the Premium, Revenue, # of policies, # of risks,and/or # of client contracts.

    The estimated Premium and/or Revenue values are multiplied by the Probability associated with each opportunity stage, so the Estimated Value of the opportunity increases as it moves through the sales pipeline. The Estimated Value is used to track progress toward individual and team sales targets on Dashboards and Opportunities Reports.
  4. Click Finish to change the opportunity’s Stage Group.

    Click Cancel to exit the Change Opportunity Stage screen without changing the Stage Group.
