Close an Opportunity

  1. Locate the account in question and access the Opportunities area. 
  2. A list of opportunities for the selected client displays. Change the opportunities that display in the list if necessary. 
  1. Click to highlight the opportunity you wish to close and do one of the following:
  2. The Close Opportunity pop-up window displays. Select Lost or Won from the Closed status dropdown menu.
  3. If you selected Lost as the Closed status, choose a Reason.
  4. Select the Actual date on which the opportunity was lost or won. This may be different than the date on which you enter it.
  5. If needed, update the Premium, Revenue, # of policies, # of risks, and/or # of client contracts.
  6. Click Finish or press [Enter] to close the opportunity.

    Click Cancel or press [Esc] to exit the Close Opportunity screen without closing the opportunity.
