Reopen an Opportunity

To ensure accurate reporting, it is best to use the Reopen action only for opportunities that are closed in error, not opportunities that have actually been lost. If you close an opportunity as Lost but wish to try again to win that business at a later time, use the Renew action instead.

  1. Locate the account in question and access the Opportunities area. 
  2. A list of opportunities for the selected client displays. Change the opportunities that display in the list if necessary. 
  1. Click to highlight the opportunity you wish to reopen and do one of the following:
  2. You are prompted, "Do you wish to reopen this opportunity?" Click Yes.
