CSIO’s My Proof of Insurance eDelivery solution provides a consistent, recognizable platform through which brokers, vendors, and companies can send digital documents—including eSlips, the digital replacement for pink cards—to the insured. In addition to providing messaging from a single, consistent location, the eDelivery service provides greater privacy and security to your insureds than email alone.
To generate an eSlip for proof of auto insurance, perform the Send CSIO eSlip action from the Policy area. Completing this action prompts CSIO’s eDelivery service to email the eSlip proof of insurance to the insured as a digital wallet attachment that they can open on their mobile device. CSIO sends an eDoc based on the eSlip to your brokerage’s mailbox as confirmation. When your brokerage processes eDocs & Messages download, this eDoc is added to the client’s Attachments list. The Send via eDelivery action from the Attachments area enables you to send eDelivery attachments without an eSlip.
In order to use the eSlip capability, you must enter the CSIO-provided credentials for your brokerage's API account in the system in CSIO eDelivery Configuration. Contact your brokerage’s system administrator to verify that the credentials have been entered for each branch.
CSIO allows attachments up to 25 MB and the service only accept the following file types: doc/docx, xls/xlsx, pdf, png, jpg/jpeg, gif, and tiff/tif. The file size limit and file types allowed is at CSIO’s discretion. CSIO has also launched a website explaining eDelivery to an insured.
