Print a Binder

When new editions of existing ACORD forms are implemented, the version that displays on your Applied Epic screen is the most recent edition. The system can display only one version at a time. However, policies written with older versions of the same form still print the edition used at the time of issuance. Upon renewal of the policy, the new/most recent edition of the ACORD form prints.

Note: This article contains printing instructions that are only applicable if Applied Epic is installed locally on your computer. If you access Epic through a web browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge, you cannot print directly from within the system. See Printing for more information about the printing capabilities available from Epic Browser. All other steps in this article are applicable to both methods of accessing Epic unless stated otherwise.

  1. Locate the customer in question and access the Proofs of Insurance area.
  2. Click Binders under Proofs of Insurance on the navigation panel.

    Note: You can access binders from the Policies area by clicking Access > Proofs > Binders > Open Binders or Closed Binders on the options bar or menubar.
  3. A list of binders for the selected customer displays. Change the binders that display in the list if necessary.
  1. Click the binder you wish to print.

  3. The Print Binder window displays. Enter the appropriate information on the following tabs:
  4. Click Finish to print the binder.

    Cancel or press [Esc] to close the screen without printing the binder. You are prompted,: "Do you wish to cancel printing?" Click Yes.

    Preview to see an on-screen preview of the binder before printing.
