Local Security for Real-Time

Use this feature to update your user ID and password for different products in real-time. This option is available from any screen in the Accounts area. On the Locate screen, it is grayed out until an account has been selected.

This is necessary only for companies that require local credentials.

1. Do one of the following:
   • Click the down arrow to the right of Real-Time and select Local Security on the options bar.
   • Click Real-Time > Local Security on the menubar.

   The Local Security Products window displays. Various product and command combinations display in the list. Click on a column heading to sort by that column.

2. Click on the desired product and command combination in the list. To select more than one item, press [Ctrl] as you click on your choices.
3. Click the Edit Credentials button. The fields below are enabled.
4. Enter the correct User ID.
5. Enter the Password.
6. Enter the password again in the Confirm password field.
7. Click the Update button.
8. When you have made all of the desired updates, click Finish.

Note:  If you have not already entered the information using this option, the system prompts you to enter credentials the first time you access a new company via Real-Time.
