Identification Codes Configuration

Applied Epic gives you the flexibility to capture a wide variety of identification numbers for different types of entities in different countries. However, not all of them may be relevant to you, depending on the location and nature of your business.

In this area, you can activate and inactivate Identification Codes for use on the Identification Numbers tab in account detail. Inactivating code types that your organization does not use streamlines the list of code types available for selection in account detail, facilitating efficient data entry and reducing errors.

Inactive codes cannot be added to accounts. If you inactivate a code that is already in use on an account, the code continues to display on that account and can be edited, but you cannot add it to any additional accounts without reactivating it.

Note: This article contains printing instructions that are only applicable if Applied Epic is installed locally on your computer. If you access Epic through a web browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge, you cannot print directly from within the system. See Printing for more information about the printing capabilities available from Epic Browser. All other steps in this article are applicable to both methods of accessing Epic unless stated otherwise.
