Account Name Configuration
This feature allows you to change the way Applied Epic automatically
generates account names. Rather than using only the first and last name,
you can opt to include the prefix, middle name, and/or suffix in the generation
of account names. Making the account names more complex can help users
differentiate accounts with similar first and last names.
Settings for including or excluding prefixes and suffixes only apply
to individual clients and for employees only. Applied Epic assumes business
clients, brokers, companies, finance companies, other interests, and vendors
will have business names. Therefore, any prefixes and suffixes are automatically
included in the generation of account names for these entity types.
This screen displays differently depending on the way you access Applied
Epic (from a web browser or from the desktop interface). The browser-specific
version only displays if your organization does not have Active
Directory authentication enabled in Login
Configuration.
