Maximum Write-Offs Configuration

Note: This article contains printing instructions that are only applicable if Applied Epic is installed locally on your computer. If you access Epic through a web browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge, you cannot print directly from within the system. See Printing for more information about the printing capabilities available from Epic Browser. All other steps in this article are applicable to both methods of accessing Epic unless stated otherwise.

From the Home screen, do one of the following:

Click Configure on the navigation panel.
Click Areas > Configure on the menubar.
Click the down arrow next to Home on the options bar and select Configure.

From any other area of the program, do one of the following:

Click the down arrow to the right of the Home options bar button and select Configure.
Click Home > Configure on the menubar. The Configure screen displays

Click Accounting on the navigation panel or Areas > Accounting on the menubar.

Click Maximum Write-Offs on the navigation panel. A list of agencies displays on the right.

You can do the following from here:

Edit Maximum Write-offs
1. Highlight the agency for which you would like to enter or revise writeoff maximums, and then do one of the following:
  - Click the Edit button.
  - Double click the agency.
  - Press [Enter].
  - Press [Ctrl] + O.
2. The fields on the right are enabled. Enter an Accounts receivable write-off amount for the selected agency.
3. Enter a Company premium payables write-off amount for the selected agency.
4. Enter a Broker premium payables write-off amount for the selected agency.
5. If your system is configured to reconcile broker commission payables, enter a Broker commission payables write-off amount for the selected agency.
6. If this agency is configured to reconcile producer commission payables, enter a Producer commission payables write-off amount for the selected agency.
7. Click Finish or press [Enter] to complete the record.
  
  Click Cancel or press [Esc] to exit the workflow without saving changes. You are prompted: "Do you wish to discard changes?" Click Yes.
Print a List of Agencies
1. To print the list of the agencies, do one of the following:
  - Click the Print button to the left of the list.
  - Click Print, Listview on the options bar.
  - Click File > Print > Listview on the menubar.
2. Print this list as you would any other document.
