Branding Profiles

In this area, you can create and edit branding profiles to use in conjunction with email templates, which can be associated to specific email events. Branding profiles allow you to add your organization’s identifying information to the header and footer of emails sent through the Distribution Manager. You can include your organization name, tagline, logo, address, email, website, and even Compliance Text.

Once you create a branding profile, you can apply it to an email template. You can create as many branding profiles as you need, but you must use a unique name for each one. You cannot delete branding profiles, but you can inactivate them as long as they are not currently assigned to any email templates.

Add a Branding Profile

You can add as many branding profiles as necessary, but you must give each one must a unique name. Enter descriptions that will help you identify and select the appropriate branding profile for each email template.

  1. From the Home screen, do one of the following:

  1. Click Email on the navigation panel or Areas > Email on the menubar.

  2. Click Branding Profiles on the navigation panel.

  3. Click the Add button .

  4. In the Descriptions section, the language defaults based on your settings, but you can change it by using the dropdown.

  5. Enter a Description that you will be able to identify easily when selecting a branding profile for an email template. Each branding profile must have a unique name.

  6. In the Branding Profile frame, enter your Organization name as you want it to display in the header of email templates that use this branding profile.

  7. Enter your organization’s Tagline, if applicable.

  8. Click Browse to open the Select Files pop-up. Locate and select the file you want to use, and click Open. The filename displays in the Logo field.
    Supported image file types include APNG, BMP, GIF, ICO, JPEG, PNW, SVG, TIFF, and WebP. The maximum recommended image dimensions are 500 pixels wide x 110 pixels high. The minimum recommended dimensions are 100 pixels wide x 40 pixels high. We recommend previewing the branding profile (step 12) and adjusting the image if necessary.

  9. In the Contact Information frame, enter the address, email, and website you want to display in the footer.

  10. In the Compliance Text frame, enter any text that you want to include in the footer.

  11. Click Preview Branding Profile to open a preview of the profile.

  12. Once you are satisfied, click Finish to add the branding profile.
    You can also click Add to add the current branding profile and begin creating a new one.
    If you do not want to save the branding profile, click Cancel.

Edit a Branding Profile

If necessary, you can edit branding profiles. If you make changes to a branding profile, they will be reflected on email templates that use that profile. You cannot delete branding profiles, but you can inactivate them if necessary.

  1. From the Home screen, do one of the following:

  1. Click Email on the navigation panel or Areas > Email on the menubar.

  2. Click Branding Profiles on the navigation panel.

  3. Select a Branding Profile from the list, and click the Edit button .

  4. Make any changes, then click Preview Branding Profile to view the changes before saving.

  5. When you are done, click Finish to apply the changes to the branding profile.
    If you do not want to save the changes, click the Cancel button to discard them.

Activate/Inactivate a Branding Profile

You cannot delete branding profiles, but you can inactivate them if necessary. You cannot delete a branding profile that is currently applied to an email template; you must remove the associated profile from the template before you can deactivate it.

  1. From the Home screen, do one of the following:

  1. Click Email on the navigation panel or Areas > Email on the menubar.

  2. Click Branding Profiles on the navigation panel.

  3. Select the Branding Profile to highlight it in the list.

  4. Do one of the following:

A confirmation message displays for you to confirm the Inactivate/Reactivate action.
