Department Configuration

Departments specify the type of business for a policy/line (e.g., Commercial, Personal, Benefits, etc.); therefore, this assignment is at the policy level in Epic. As with branches, departments are assigned to Income Statement accounts (income/expenses). In Epic’s hierarchy of structure, it comes below Branch and above Profit Center.

Note: This article contains printing instructions that are only applicable if Applied Epic is installed locally on your computer.
