Export Contacts

Applied Epic allows you to import and export contacts in different file formats for client verification and for quick and easy entering of data into the program.

  1. Access the Accounts area and locate the appropriate entity .
  2. Click Contacts on the navigation panel, or click Areas, Contacts on the menubar.
  3. Change the types of contacts that display in the list if necessary.
  4. Do one of the following:
  5. In the Export Contacts window, choose the correct contact Type.
  6. To show mapping files that are associated with the selected account, click the Select file by account checkbox.
  7. Choose the desired Mapping file.

    Note: To choose a file definition that is specific to the selected account, click the Select file by account checkbox before choosing a mapping file.
  8. Enter a File name for the file that is to be exported.
  9. Select any checkboxes that apply:
  10. If delivery options have not been disabled, the primary contact defaults into the Contact field. To choose a different contact on the account, click the click the lookup button , change the types of contacts that display in the list if necessary, click on the correct payee, and then click Finish.
  11. In the Via field, choose the desired contact method:
  12. A list of contacts for the selected policy displays. Click Export to create the file.
  13. Click Yes to verify that you want to export the list.
