Interface Dashboard

The Interface Dashboard gives you insight into short- and long-term trends in your organization’s download activities and performance. It provides convenient visualizations to help you analyze download data, identify common issues or inefficiencies with download files. Use these insights in conversations with employees and carriers to improve download quality, so that more files are processed and fewer go to Suspense.

Click the Info button for details on the data that populates on your Interface Dashboard. A tooltip displays information on how long your data is retained, as well as your settings for data aggregation and purging. In most cases, data more than 365 days old is aggregated at a daily level and data more than 1,827 days (five years) old is purged. These defaults are managed by Applied, independent of the options in Interface System Settings. If you have questions or concerns regarding these settings, please contact Applied Customer Support.

The Dashboard charts populate differently for non-aggregated and aggregated data. By default, your non-aggregated data populates based on Download activity (that is, at the transaction level). Your aggregated data populates based on your Aggregated Level value.

Customizing your view

You can filter the data that populates in the charts and the way values are calculated, depending on the date ranges, transaction types, and/or carriers you want to view. Your selections do not save; they revert to their defaults each time you access the Dashboard.

  1. Select how you want to view the data in the charts:

  2. Select Custom Range to define a date range, or select the number of days for which you want to view data.

If you select Custom Range, the date fields default to the earliest and latest dates for which you have data available. To change them, click the x in either field and enter a start date or a Through date.

  3. Select to view All Transaction Types or a specific transaction type.

  4. Select to view transactions for All Carriers or a specific carrier.

  5. Click Apply Filters to apply your selections to all charts.

Charts

The Dashboard charts provide graphical representations of key download metrics, including total Download transactions, counts and percentages of transactions sent to Suspense, and historical trends in these metrics. To help you pinpoint any recurring issues with download quality, you can also view the top reasons transactions are sent to Suspense.

The Carriers By Suspended Transaction chart and the Reasons for Suspense charts display the top ten carriers and reasons by default. Use the View Data By and Filter By options to filter the data that displays.

For a full-screen view of a chart, click on it. When you are finished, click the Back button to close the full-screen view.
