Modify Next Scheduling/Recurrence - Generate Journal Entries

Use this action to cancel the next scheduled generation of journal entries, or to reschedule/adjust the recurrence of scheduled journal entry generation.

This action can only be used to modify existing journal entry jobs. To schedule new journal entry jobs, follow the instructions in Generate Journal Entries.

  1. From the Home screen, do one of the following:

  2. Click Accounting on the navigation panel or Areas > Accounting on the menubar.
  3. Click Month End on the navigation panel.
  4. On the menubar or options bar, click Actions > Modify Next Scheduling/Recurrence.
  5. If any scheduled jobs already exist, you are prompted, “Any modifications will automatically update the agency’s existing scheduled job.” Click OK.
  6. The Modify Next Scheduling/Recurrence window displays. The Scheduled frame shows a list of all agencies with scheduled journal entry jobs. Select the jobs you wish to modify. You may also click Select All.
  7. Make the appropriate selections in the Cancel/Reschedule for All Selected Items frame.
  8. Once you have made the desired selections, click Modify to apply your changes or Close to exit the screen.
