Single Sign On to Applied CSR24

Single sign on functionality saves users time by eliminating the need to login separately to each product. Once you configure Single Sign On to Applied CSR24, any user who is logged into Applied Epic can access Applied CSR24 without entering their credentials. Users are already verified for Applied CSR24 just by logging into Applied Epic.

You must configure a Single Sign On link to allow users to create and edit Applied CSR24 accounts from within Applied Epic. The following workflow will guide you through the process of creating a Single Sign On link for Applied CSR24.

1. From the Home screen, open Configure > Links > Links.
2. Click the Add button to add a link to Applied CSR24 (if you have not done so already) or the Edit button to edit your existing Applied CSR24 link.
3. Fill in the Description.
4. Enter https://www.i-csr.net/voyager/site.mvc/SSO/Epic in the Path/Address field.
5. Check the Pass information checkbox.
6. Enter your Applied CSR24 Agency Key in the Additional parameter field to pass through to the Applied CSR24 website.
   Note: This information is provided by your Applied CSR24 account representative.
7. Because a security certificate is required to access Applied CSR24, check the Update certificate information checkbox to enable the Description, Source file, and Password fields.
8. If Applied Epic is installed locally on your computer click Actions > Create a Digital Certificate to create your certificate. You cannot create a digital certificate when accessing Epic through a web browser.
   1. Click Actions > Create Digital Certificate.
   2. The Create Digital Certificate pop-up displays. Fill in the required fields:
      1. Agency name: This is the name of your agency.
      2. Certificate name/description: Choose a name for the certificate. This is the file name for the saved copy. Using your Applied CSR24 agency key name to identify your agency's unique certificate is recommended.
      3. Password: Choose a password for the certificate. Make sure it is something secure, but also one you can easily identify.
      4. Confirm password: Re-type the password here.
      5. Valid on: The date your certificate is valid. Choose a date from the dropdown calendar and then enter a time in the at field.
      6. Valid to: The date your certificate expires. Choose a date from the dropdown calendar and then enter a time in the at field.
   3. Set a Destination folder. This is the location where your certificate saves once it is generated.
      1. Click the lookup button and choose a folder from the existing ones on your workstation.
      2. Click OK when done.
         Note: Two copies of the certificate save to this folder in two different file types (CER and PFX).

         This is the private key certificate. Keep this copy so that your password, description, and location are recognized by Applied CSR24.

         This is the public key certificate. An Epic Data Transfer must be run to complete the setup and transmit the CER file to your CSR24 account representative. The Epic Data Transfer runs at least once per day. If you need to modify the scheduled time or run it on demand, contact Applied Customer Support.

   4. Click Finish.
9. The Description, Source file, and Password fields populate with what you defined on the Create Digital Certificate pop-up.
10. If you only want to make the Applied CSR24 link visible from certain areas, choose the Selected radio button under Areas Available and click the Add button.

11. The Select Areas pop-up displays. Check the boxes next to the areas you prefer. To narrow the list, use the Search where options.

    • Click Add to add your selections without exiting the pop-up.

    • Click Finish if you have completed adding the areas.

12. To make this link available to selected groups rather than all groups, click the Add button under Group Memberships to add Links Groups you set up in Link Groups Configuration.

13. To use Applied CSR24 in the Proofs of Insurance area in Applied Epic, set up Premium Proofs Processing in Policy System Settings Configuration.

14. Click Finish when you have defined all necessary parameters for this link.

15. An Epic Data Transfer must be run to complete the setup and transmit the CER file to your CSR24 account representative. The Epic Data Transfer runs at least once per day. If you need to modify the scheduled time or run it on demand, contact Applied Customer Support.

16. After CSR24 has been updated with your data, access an Epic client account and open the Link you defined to sign in to that client’s Applied CSR24 page automatically.
    If you set up Premium Proofs Processing through Policy System Settings Configuration, you can access the client, click Proofs of Insurance on the navigation panel, and then click Premium Processing and either Certificates or Evidences to process proofs for the selected client.
    
    Note: If you do not have this option set up in Policy System Settings Configuration, the Premium Processing option will not be available.
