Add Additional Items

Use this workflow to add transactions to a producer/broker payable reconciliation that has already been created: for example, if you would like to include future items (or a specific future item) on your current statement.

Note: Any item you add to a statement must match the criteria defined for that statement (with the exception of the Month/Date criteria selection).

If the Journal Entry Approval Process is enabled, only journal entries with an Approved or System Approved status affect General Ledger balances and display on reconciliation screens. Journal entries with a Working, Submitted, or Rejected status are excluded.

  1. Access the Reconciliations area.

  2. Click Pr/Br Payables under Reconciliations on the navigation panel.

  3. The Producer/Broker Payable Reconciliations screen displays. Enter your desired search criteria to populate the list.

  1. Click on the reconciliation in the list and then do one of the following:

Note: No actions can be performed on statements containing archived transactions.

  2. In the navigation panel, click Detail to access the transaction list.

  3. On the menubar or the options bar, click Actions > Add Additional Items.

  4. The Add Additional Items screen displays. Make a selection in the Search Where dropdown menu:

  5. The choices available in the second dropdown menu vary, depending on the selection you made in the first dropdown.

  6. The list populates with your search results. You may change the columns that display in the list if desired.

  7. Select the desired item(s). You may also click the Select All link label. To clear these results without adding any items and begin a new search, click Clear Filter.

  8. Click Add to add these items to the statement and continue searching. If you are not performing another search, click Finish.

  9. Once you have finished adding additional items to the statement, it is highly recommended that you flag or reconcile the items. Otherwise, they will not display on the statement if you exit and then re-enter the statement detail; only the items that were originally included on the statement will be retained.
