Status of Accounts
You can access the Status of Accounts from any screen in the
General Ledger area. This feature allows you to run a report to view the
balance of a general ledger account and its detail for the selected accounting
month. If you require more criteria than those available through this
function, run a report
from the Reports/Marketing area.
To view the detailed items without running a report, access the Disbursements,
Journal Entries, or Receipts area. In the search bar, select Account Lookup > Equals,
and then specify the account.
- Access the General Ledger area. To access the General Ledger area
from the Home screen, do one
of the following:
- Click
General Ledger
on the navigation panel.
- Click
Areas >
General Ledger on the menubar.
- Click
the down
arrow next to Home
on the options bar and select General
Ledger.
To access
the General Ledger from another area of the program, do one of the following:
- Click
Home >
General Ledger on the menubar.
- Click
the down
arrow next to Home
on the options bar and select General
Ledger.
- Do one
of the following:
- Click On
Demand > Status of Accounts on the options bar.
- Click On
Demand > Status of Accounts on the menubar.
- In the Status of Accounts
pop-up window that displays, the Acctg
month defaults to the current system accounting month. Change
this if desired.
- Enter the GL
account number in the fields provided. To look up the correct
account, click the lookup
button
.
Type at least the first digit of the account in the first field, or
the first digit of the subaccount in the second field, and then click
Locate.
Highlight the appropriate GL account and
click Finish.
Select the Include
subaccounts checkbox if applicable.
- Optionally select an Agency,
Branch,
Department,
and Profit Center.
- Click Preview.
The Print Preview screen
displays.
- Click Page
Setup to specify the print parameters or to change the printer
to which the document should be sent. Fill this window in as you would
for any other document.
Change the Zoom
percentage to change the size of the document on the screen for easier
viewing.
Click the Single
Page View
, Double
Page View
, and Multiple
Page View
buttons to specify the number
of pages that should display on the screen.
Use the First
Page, Next
Page, Previous
Page, and Last
Page buttons to scroll through the pages on the screen, or
enter the desired page number in the field provided and press [Enter].
Click the Print
button to print the document. Your Print
window displays. Print this as you would any other document.
Click Close
to exit the screen without printing the document.
