Import Custom Item

This feature allows you to enter custom forms and document templates in a non-production database for testing before pulling them into a live environment. It also lets you share custom forms among multiple locations running separate databases.

  1. From the Home screen, do one of the following:

From any other area of the program, do one of the following:

  1. Click Import on the navigation panel or Areas > Import on the menubar.
  2. Click Custom Items on the navigation panel.
  3. Click the Add button .
  4. Browse to the file that you want to import and click Open.
  5. Click the Refresh link label on the header bar.
  6. The status is Ready. Click Import to import the documents into the database.
  7. The details and custom screens for the imported custom items have the same settings as in the database from which they were exported. The fields vary, depending on the item type and attachment template type (Standard or Master). For more information about attachment template types, see Attachment Template Configuration
  8. Click Import again.
  9. The status changes to Importing. Click Refresh.
  10. The status changes to Imported.

You must install the Custom Form.

In order to use the form in the program, you must set it up in Policy Type Configuration.
