This feature allows you to enter custom forms and document templates in a non-production database for testing before pulling them into a live environment. It also lets you share custom forms among multiple locations running separate databases.
From any other area of the program, do one of the following:
Click on a template in the list to view its detail. The available tabs vary, depending on the template type.
If you opt to replace
an existing template, click the
lookup button to the right
of the Template
to replace field, select the checkbox beside the template
you are replacing, and click Finish.
Any associated applications and/or supplemental screens display on this tab.
To map an application to a custom form, do the following:
To update a source screen/supplemental screen combination, do the following:
This tab only displays if the selected document was created as a master template. It lists all paragraph templates used in the document.
Optionally select the Apply header(s) and footer(s) from first paragraph to all others checkbox if you want to use the header and footer from the first paragraph template for the entire document.
To substitute a paragraph in the selected template with a different one, do the following:
This tab lists all languages that have been added to the template. If Use same language for all versions is selected on the Title tab, only the default language displays here.
To change the language that will be assigned to the template upon import (for example, to import an English [United States] template as English [Canadian]), do the following:
If
you opt to replace an existing document template,

This read-only tab displays only if you are importing paragraph templates. It lists the master templates associated with the selected paragraph template.
The Source Screen column lists each supplemental screen associated to this template. If a supplemental screen associated with the template was exported with it, the supplemental screen displays in the Destination Screen column.
To select a screen for inclusion in a document view,
click on the document
view and then click the
Edit button . In the Available Document View
Screens pop-up window, select the desired screen
and click Finish

[Enter].

you opt to replace an existing custom form, click the lookup
button to the right
of the Form to Update
field, select the checkbox
beside the form that the selected file is to replace, and
click Finish.
Use the search bar above the list to specify the issuing companies that you want to see
These are the choices in the first dropdown menu:
The following choices are available in the second dropdown menu:
To remove an issuing company
for the supplemental screen, select the issuing
company list and then click the Delete
button .
To remove an application detail
from the supplemental screen, select it in the Application Detail list and click
the Delete
button .
The Supplemental Screens list is informational only and cannot be updated.
If you opt to replace an existing
document view, click the lookup
button to the right of the Form
to Update field, select the checkbox
beside the document view you are replacing, and click Finish.
To remove an application detail
from the document view, select it in the Application
Detail list and click the Delete
button . You are prompted, “Do you wish
to delete this record?” Click Yes.
You must install the Custom Form.
In order to use the form in the program, you must set it up in Policy Type Configuration.
