Deliver Report as Report Quick View

The Deliver Report as Report Quick View feature allows you to send a link to a frequently used report to the Report Quick View section on your own or another user's Home screen, saving you the trouble of navigating to the report each time you (or the other user) want to run it. For more information on Reports, see the Reports/Marketing section of the help file.

1. Access the Reports/Marketing area.

   To access the Reports/Marketing area from the Home screen, do one of the following:

   • Click Reports/Marketing on the navigation panel.
   • Click Areas > Reports/Marketing on the menubar.
   • Click the down arrow next to Home on the options bar and select Reports/Marketing.

   To access Reports/Marketing from another area of the program, do one of the following:

   • Click Home > Reports/Marketing on the menubar.
   • Click the down arrow next to Home on the options bar and select Reports/Marketing.
2. Only reports listed in My Reports can be delivered as Report Quick View links. For instructions on copying a report to that list, see Copy a Report.
3. Click to highlight the report.
4. Do one of the following:
    
   • Click Actions > Deliver as Report Quick View on the options bar.
   • Click Actions > Deliver as Report Quick View on the menubar.
   • Right click the report and select Deliver as Report Quick View.
5. In the Deliver as Report Quick View popup window, the report name defaults in the Display as field. This report name will display in the Report Quick View area on the Home screen. You can change it if necessary.
6. In the Deliver to section, select the applicable checkbox(es):
    
   • My Report Quick View
   • Other users' Report Quick View

If you select the Other users' Report Quick View checkbox, the names of all users in the system display in the Select users list. Select the checkbox for each user to whom you wish to send a link to the report.

Note: The results that users retrieve when running these reports will be limited to the accounts and structures to which they have security access, just as if they were running them from the Reports/Marketing area.

7. Click Finish.
   
   A copy of the report displays in the Report Quick View section of the Home screen as well as in the My Reports list for the selected users. Any changes must be made to the copy of the report in the recipient's My Reports list.
