Name Check
If you manually type recipients in the To, Cc, or Bcc fields in an email message, use the Name Check feature to ensure that the email program recognizes the names and will send the message to the correct recipient.
- After entering recipients on the New Mail Message screen, click the Name Check button
.
- If the name you typed is recognized, nothing occurs. If the name is not recognized, the Check Names screen displays.
- The Check Names screen provides a list of suggested recipients. If no suggestions could be found based on the name you entered, the list displays (No Suggestions).
- If one of the suggestions displayed is correct, select the recipient and click OK.
- If no suggestions display or if none of the suggestions are correct, you can do one of the following:

- Click Show More Names... to search for the appropriate recipient in the address book.
- Click New Contact... to add this recipient to the system.

- The New Entry screen displays. Determine whether this entry is a New Contact or New Group and click OK.
- You are prompted to finish entering contact information for the new entry.
