Print Barcodes

The Barcode Generator allows you to print a barcode that represents an entity, policy, and claim, if applicable. The barcode is then scanned (using the Image Scan/Batch Attach option) along with an image to create an attachment.

  1. From Home Base, click the Barcode button, or click Options and then click Barcode Generator.
  2. The Barcode Printer screen displays. Select the appropriate Entity Type.
  3. Type the Entity Code, or double click the field to select from a lookup screen.
  4. If you are attaching the image to a policy or claim, select the appropriate Policy or Claim.
  5. To attach an image to an existing Activity or Attachment, select the appropriate option. Once selected, double-click the Code field, and select the appropriate Activity or Attachment. Click OK.
  6. Select the attachment Category, Subcategory, Description, and Custom Date.
  7. The following options are available in the Activity Information frame:

  9. From here you must perform a batch scan to scan the document into TAM and attach it to the appropriate entity.
