Access IVANS Exchange

IVANS Exchange is an integrated service portal that enables your agency to view, track, report, and manage your download connections seamlessly.

You can access Exchange directly from Applied TAM. The first time you access IVANS Exchange you must associate your IVANS Exchange user credentials with your Applied TAM login by logging into IVANS Exchange account. After you make this association, you will no longer be prompted for your credentials. Logging into Applied TAM provides you instant access to your Agency & Connections dashboards and all IVANS Exchange functionality.

To access IVANS Exchange from Applied TAM, you must have the Agency File Interface Setup security right granted in Security Manager Options > Program Access > Utilities > Company Interface.

Requesting Your IVANS Exchange user account

Before you can start using IVANS Exchange, if you haven't already, you must register to request credentials. If your agency has multiple mailbox accounts, credentials are required for each one.

  1. Locate your agency's Mailbox account number/ID in Agency File Interface Setup (do not make any changes to the IVANS account information in this area).
  2. Click the IVANS button on the Button bar and then click the Register Here link on the IVANS Exchange Log On screen, or complete the registration form here.

Note: Contact your TAM System Administrator for assistance creating an individual user account.

Accessing IVANS Exchange for the first time

The first time you access IVANS Exchange, you must associate your Applied TAM credentials to your IVANS Exchange ID. If your agency has multiple mailbox accounts, associate the IVANS Exchange ID for the account you use most often to your Applied TAM credentials.

  1. Click the IVANS button. The IVANS button is available on Home Base and the Clients & Files Button bar.
  2. The IVANS Exchange Log On screen displays. Enter the Username and Password for your Exchange user account. Then click the LOG ON button.

After you have performed this setup step, clicking the IVANS button signs you in to IVANS Exchange automatically and your agency customized dashboard displays, where you can view your agency's current download usage, connection opportunities, and relevant industry news in a single location.

To access a different mailbox account, log out from within Exchange, and then log back in using the other mailbox account’s credentials.

Resetting your IVANS Exchange user account password

If you are prompted for your IVANS Exchange login credentials for any reason and you do not remember your password, do the following:

  1. Click the Forgot your password? link on the Exchange Log On screen.
  2. The Set Password screen displays. Enter the User ID and email address associated to your Exchange account.
  3. Click the FIND ME button. You will receive an email message containing instructions to reset your Exchange password.
