Account Update Wizard

Whenever new products are added to your account, you will need to use the Account Update Wizard to associate those products with company codes in your system. New products are added en masse as carriers complete their implementation, and product updates occur on a weekly basis. It is advisable, therefore, that you run an account update once a week.

  1. From the Clients & Files area, click the Real-Time button and select Real-Time Interface.
  2. The Real-Time Interface screen displays. On the menubar, click File > Account Update Wizard.
  3. The Enter Company Codes window displays. Locate the products that are not yet associated with codes and do the following:
    1. Highlight the first product in the list. If you are going to enter the same company code for multiple products, you may select multiple products at the same time by pressing the [Shift] or [Ctrl] key.
    2. Click Enter Code to type in a company code, or Find Code to select it from a list. To enter multiple company codes for the same product, separate the codes with a semicolon.
    3. If you erroneously enter a code, highlight that product and click Remove Code.
    4. When you are done associating company codes, click Finish.
