Routing Information for Efiling
- Prev and Next Buttons: When you have selected more than one file to route, click these buttons to move to the previous or next file selected. If all the files you have selected require the same routing information, select the Apply settings to all files checkbox.
- Routing File: Displays the name of the selected file. Click Open to preview the file.
Attach To
- Entity Type: Click to select the entity type from the dropdown menu.
- Entity Code: Double click to select the entity from a list.
- Policy: Double click to select a specific policy to attach the file to (customers only).
Note: Policies that display in red are expired.
- Claim: Double click to select a specific claim to attach the file to (customers only).
- Activity/Attachment: To attach an image to an existing Activity or Attachment, select the appropriate option. Once selected, double-click the Code field, and select the appropriate Activity or Attachment. Click OK.
- Apply settings to all files: Click to use the same Attach To settings for all files selected for attaching.
- Group Files: Click to group selected files as a single attachment. When a group of files is selected in the Attachment List, the preview pane displays an attachment button
. To view the list of grouped files, double click the Attachment button< or select Display Attached Items from the Options menu.
Attachment Details
- Category: Double click to select an attachment category to assign to the attached file.
- Subcategory: Double click to select a subcategory to further identify the attachment.
- Description: Double click to select a description of attachment.
- Custom Date: Miscellaneous date assigned to the attached file. It defaults to the system date but can be changed if desired.
- Apply settings to all files: Click to use the same Attachment Details for all files selected for attaching.
- Add Activity: Add an activity entry for the attachment(s). Please note the following when attaching multiple files.

- If you are attaching multiple files and do not want to create an activity for a specific attachment, you can deselect the Add Activity checkbox on the screen for that file.
- Activities are added in "bulk" (New Bulk Activity Detail screen). One activity detail appears, but a separate activity is processed for each attached file.
- The Activity Note for each activity generated is the attachment Description plus the Note entered on the New Bulk Activity Detail screen.
- If the files are grouped as a single attachment, only one activity is generated and will be associated with the first file attached. When drilling down on this activity, an attachment button
displays in the corner on the Attachment Detail screen. Double click the Attachment button or select Display Attached Items from the Options menu to view the multiple attachments.
- Client Viewable: Includes the attachment in the data extract process for organizations using Applied CSR24.
- Back: Click to return to the Select Files for Routing screen.
- Attach Files: Click Attach Files when you have filled in the Routing Information and are ready to attach the files.
- Close: Click to close the File Router without attaching files.
