Generate Map

The Generate Map option enables you to automatically generate a map using Google Maps for many addresses entered in Applied TAM. Use the Generate Map option to save time and reduce inaccurate maps caused by mistyped addresses.

Note: You must have Internet access to use this feature.

The mapping feature is available in the following areas of TAM:

Contact Detail
ACORD 80 Homeowners Application - Policy Info tab
ACORD 84 Dwelling Fire Application - Policy Info tab
ACORD 125 Commercial Application - Applicant and Premises tabs
ACORD 130 Workers Compensation Application - Applicant and Locations tabs
ACORD 160 Business Owners Policy Application - Applicant and Premises tabs
ACORD 301 Flood Application - Insured/Location Info tab
ACORD 401 Agricultural Application - Applicant and Premises tabs

Note: This feature is available on current applications only; it is not available on applications saved to history.

The client's main mailing address is available in all areas listed above, but within applications containing various locations, you can also map each location that differs from the mailing address.

On all applications and on the Customer Detail and Prospect Detail, Contact screens, simply click the Generate Map button to open your web browser to Google Maps. Applied TAM prefills the address, and the map is automatically generated.

On the Customers or Prospects list, select the client whose address you want to map: from the Options menu, select Generate Map.
