Take Message
- At Home Base, click Receptionist. The Receptionist screen displays.
- In the Take Message frame, double click the TO field to select the recipient from the address book.
- Select a recipient's name and click the To-> button. When you are finished selecting recipients, click OK.
- To add recipients to the CC line, repeat steps 2-3.
- Double click the first FROM field.
- Click a radio button in the Files Selection frame. The list populates with files of that type.
- Select the caller from the list and click OK. The name and telephone number are entered in the appropriate fields.
- If the message is urgent, click the Urgent checkbox.
- Type the subject of the message in the RE: field.
- Check as many of the following as are applicable:
- Telephoned
- Returned Call
- Came to see you
- Please Call
- Will Call Again
- Wants to see you
- Type the message in the text field below the descriptions.
- Click one of the following buttons:
- Log Call: Log the status of the call. The Set Call Status screen appears. Click the desired status and click OK.
- Send Email: Send an email of the message to the recipient.
- Send & Log: Log the status of the call and send email of message to recipient. The Set Call Status screen appears. Click the desired status and click OK.
- Print: Print the message.
- Clear Input: Clear all text from the Take Message fields.
