Activity Reports

The following reports are available from the Activity category of TAM Reports. Select a report from the list to jump to that report section.

Currently TAM Reports is undergoing a reports engine upgrade. During this process, both TAM Reports and TAM Classic Reports are available. TAM Reports opens by default and many reports are available from this area. Any reports grayed out in the list are only available from TAM Classic Reports. TAM Classic Reports function as before, and by default only the reports that were not converted display. To view all reports in classic mode, select Options > Show All Reports.

Important! All Month-End, User Defined, and reports with an output of Queue Report must be done in TAM Classic Reports.

Select a report from the list to jump to that report section.

Activity Report

The Activity Report lists all or any selected set of Activity File entries. This allows you to analyze activity categories and determine the result or resolution of each entry. You can also list entries of a specific type on the report. The Activity Report is designed to help managers better assess the past and future activity of the agency. This report is especially useful to present work that has been or is due to be done by people in the agency, i.e., CSR, producer, operator, etc.

Applications Submitted - Customer

The Apps Submitted - Customer report lists all customer applications submitted to the company for a policy.

Applications Submitted - Prospect

The Apps Submitted - Prospect report lists all prospect applications submitted to the company for a policy.

Change Activity File Utility (TAM Classic Reports Only)

This option searches for a specific set of entries in the Activity File and changes a value for a particular field on the entries. For example, if a CSR leaves the agency and someone else is handling the accounts, use this option to change the CSR code associated with the Activity File.

Company Submissions

The Company Submissions report lists company submissions with total, average, minimum, and maximum values. The report is based on the following activity codes: QTAP_applications submitted for quote, SBAP_applications submitted for policy, and PROP_proposals.

Exceptions Report

The Exceptions Report lists Activity File entries that were not followed up and provides explanations of why they were not followed up. This helps keep track of those items that are atypical and those that have not been attended to within a reasonable time frame. This report allows you to view patterns in the entries that are exceptions to the norm and locate possible problems in agency workflow. The report also prints automatically during Close-Day to present all Activity File entries that have not been resolved to date.

Follow-Up Report

The Follow-Up Report lists open entries. This provides a daily reminder of items that must be followed up. The report can be used as a "to do" list to plan the day and remind employees of tasks to complete on specific days. The Follow-Up Report can also be printed as part of Close-Day to present all open Activity File entries for a selected future time frame sorted into groups for the employees who are to follow up on the entries.

Lost Business by Company

The Lost Business by Company report presents all business lost by companies and explanations for the loss. This report is based on the LOSS activity code.

Marketing Analysis (TAM Classic Reports Only)

The Marketing Plan Analysis Report is used to track the effectiveness of the marketing plans used by the agency. The various stages of marketing plans and the number of entries within each activity category of the plan are detailed. The report also indicates whether the clients targeted were interested, not interested, or have not responded. This allows you to monitor prospects' progression through various stages of the marketing plans. The report also indicates the percentage of entries recorded for the first step in a marketing plan that have reached subsequent stages of the plan. This helps you track the progress of your marketing plans and monitor the effectiveness of the various stages of those plans.

Open Change Requests (TAM Classic Reports Only)

The Open Change Requests report presents the change requests that remain open. The report is based on the CHGR activity code.

Producer Goals

The Producer Goals report is used to analyze how effectively producers are meeting their goals. This report requires the following activity codes: GOAL_year-to-date production goal, SALE_sales, PROP_proposals, and LOST_lost business.

Rejections Report (TAM Classic Reports Only)

The Rejections Report lists entries that were marked as unsuccessful. It can be used to find patterns in rejections to help determine why they were unsuccessful. The report provides insight into changes necessary to enhance the agency's effectiveness by not only indicating which activities were unsuccessful, but also listing the reason the efforts were ineffective. This report can be a helpful tool to analyze and track submissions.

Schedule Plus Export (TAM Classic Reports Only)

The Schedule Plus Export report selects items to be followed up on, based on activities that are not yet closed. It presents the items in a report and also in a data file that can be exported to Schedule Plus.

Tracking Report (TAM Classic Reports Only)

The Tracking Report lists all open entries in the Activity File. This is a helpful indication of items that still need attention. The report is designed as a planning tool to assess workflow in the agency, but it can also be used to forecast the future workflow for producers and sales people and the future workload for CSRs.
