List Statements

This option is used to display the client bill reconciliations entered in your system.

  1. From Home Base, click the Accounting button.
  2. Click Reconciliations.
  3. Click Client Bill or Combined Bill.
  4. Click List Statements.

List all open statements, unpaid statements, or closed statements. Click the desired radio button to specify the types of statements to list. Each option is discussed below.

Open

To display any statement reconciliations that you have started but not completed, click the Open radio button. The program displays the open statements for the highlighted insurer in the window. Reconciliation information displays in the following columns:

Use the arrow buttons or scroll bars to move through the list of agencies, insurers, or statements. Click Print to send the list to the printer. Click Exit to return to the Reconcile Insurer Payables window.

Note: The program does not allow you to pack & reindex in Night Utility Job System if open statements exist. All statements must be closed in order to pack & reindex.

Unpaid

Use this option to list the statement reconciliations that you have completed but not yet paid to the insurer. Although you reconcile insurer statements through this program, the reconciliation process is not complete until you write the check to the appropriate insurer or insurers through the Pay Insurer Statement option in the Disbursements program. Until you do so, the statement is considered unpaid. Listing unpaid statements is helpful when you are preparing to write checks to the insurers.

To display any unpaid statement reconciliations, click the Unpaid radio button.

The program lists the unpaid statements for the highlighted insurer in the window. Reconciliation information is listed in the following columns:

Highlight a statement and click Details to view statement information via the Unpaid Statements Report. (Before running the report, select the Cust Code or Cust Name radio button to determine what data displays in the first column.)

Closed

Use this option to display the detail of a statement you have reconciled and paid to the insurer.

To display closed statements, click the Closed radio button.

TAM displays all closed statements for the highlighted agency and insurer in summary form. Reconciliation information is listed in the following columns:

To view a statement in detail, highlight the desired statement and click Details to view statement information via the Paid Statements Report. (Before running the report, select the Cust Code or Cust Name radio button to determine what data displays in the first column.)
