Add a Prospect Policy
You may enter up to six policies for each prospect.
Note: Policy information entered for prospects refers to the policies currently held by the prospects, not the policies that they will hold with your agency in the future.
- At Home Base, click Clients & Files.
- From the dropdown menu above the list, select Prospects.
- Select the desired prospect from the list.
- Click the Policy List button.
- Click Add. The New Prospect Policy Detail screen displays.
- Enter the following information into the fields.
- Type: Policy type
- Ins: Insurer currently writing coverage
- Pr: Introducer
- Status: Policy status (New)
- Agnt: Agent
Note: Leave blank if not an brokerage account (if customer belongs to another brokerage that is placing business through your agency).
- Exp Date: Date current coverage expires or date proposal needed
- Premium: Current policy premium or target premium
- Click OK to save the policy detail.
- Click Yes to confirm your entry.
