Introducer Security enables you to control introducer access to clients and prospects using the Account Level Access group and All Introducer Access setting in Security Manager.
Users in the Account Level Access group are granted rights to All Introducer Access, allowing access to all customer and prospect information. Users are automatically added to this group, so users are automatically granted these rights.
To deny All Introducer Access, remove the user from the Account Level Access group. For more information, see Security Manager.
Because user rights override group rights, it is recommended that you use group rights to simplify security access. You may, however, also grant All Introducer Access at the user level.
Because user rights override group rights, it is recommended that you use group rights to simplify security access. You may, however, also deny All Introducer Access at the user level.
In order to grant a user rights to only one introducer, deny rights to All Introducer Access. Then enter the desired Introducer Code on the User Account tab in Security Manager. The user will then have access to the customer and prospect information for the designated introducer only.
When All Introducer Access is denied, you must be sure that the Introducer Code is selected on the User Account tab in Security Manager. When All Introducer Access is denied, a filter based on the introducer code is activated. If the Introducer Code is left blank in Security Manager, the filter will not work, and the customer and prospect lists will appear blank when the user attempts to view them.
The Prod (introducer code) field on the Customer Detail and Prospect Detail screens automatically fills and cannot be modified on these screens when All Introducer Access is denied.
