View Transaction History (Filter List)
- Click Clients & Files.
- Select an entity type from the dropdown menu.
- Select the appropriate entity from the list.
- Click the Options button on the Transaction List screen and select Filter List to activate the View Transaction History window.

Note: The View Transaction History window is also accessed by double clicking the Filter radio button on the Transaction List screen.
The View Transaction History window allows you to choose default settings for viewing transactions. Choose from the following settings.
- Open Items: Select All Items to include both open and closed invoices. Select Open Items to display only open invoices in the view.
- Billing: Select individual billing modes to view or select All Modes.
- Date Filters: Enter a From and To date to specify a transaction date range to view. Only transactions entered within this date range display.
Note: Double click the From or To field to open a calendar selection window. Click the date in the calendar to enter the date in the To or From field automatically.
- View Mode: Click Open Item or Balance Forward to specify the category of transactions to view.
- Date Order: Click Most Recent or Oldest to specify the date order for listed transactions.
The lower right corner of the View Transaction History window displays client policies by Policy Risk Number, Policy Type, and Policy Number.
Note: User-defined transactions installed in DOSTAM as cancellation type transactions display in red and appear as credit items in the transaction total. When these transactions are entered with split commissions, a credit MEM invoice is generated.
Four program buttons appear on the bottom of the View Transaction History window. Each button is described below.
- OK: Click OK when all selections have been made. The viewing criteria are saved for the current user and the Transaction List is displayed.
- Cancel: Click Cancel to return to the Transaction List screen.
- Help: Click Help to display the View Transaction Filter Dialog Box help window.
- Reset: Click Reset to return the filter options to the following default positions.

- Open Items is set to All Items.
- Billing is set to All Modes.
- Date entries are removed from the Date Filters fields.
- View Mode is set to Balance Forward.
- Date Order is set to Most Recent.
