Assign Applied ezITV Evaluation

  1. To assign an Applied ezITV Evaluation, begin by locating a client from Desktop Navigation in Applied Rating Services

To locate an existing client, complete one of the following workflows:

      1. Click Client > Locate on the menubar.
      2. Click the dropdown arrow to select other search criteria; click the plus sign to add additional search criteria if needed.
      3. Enter your search criteria in the Search field.
      4. Click the Locate button.
      5. In the Results list, select the client and click OK.
  1. To launch PropertyRater do one of the following:
  1. The Quote information screen displays. Complete or revise information on this screen as needed. Click OK to continue to the next screen.
  2. The Additional Customer information screen displays only if the insurance carriers that your agency are licensed with use a credit score to help assess risk and determine a premium.
  3. The Property Underwriting screen displays. To assign an Applied ezITV evaluation, do one of the following:
  1. The Applied ezITV Evaluation Assignment screen displays. Select an evaluation from the list and click OK.

    Note: Once an evaluation is assigned to a property quote, the evaluation no longer displays in the assignment list or the Quote Summary on the Desktop.
  1. The Applied ezITV Software End User License Agreement displays. To have the screen display in French, select the Français radio button. Once you have finished reading the license agreement, click the Accept button to continue to the next screen.

    Note: Select the Do not show this message again checkbox to prevent this screen from displaying in the future. This screen will not display If the Do not show this message again checkbox was previously checked.
  2. The Applied ezITV with iClarify evaluation screen displays showing information for the selected address.
  3. Calculate the replacement cost by doing one of the following:
  1. Once you have finished with the evaluation, click the Save button on the options bar and click File > Exit. Click Yes to save and return to PropertyRater.

    Note: If you don’t click Yes, the system will not transfer the evaluation information to the quote.
  2. The Building value and Coverage along with other underwriting information on the property quote are populated based on the information from the assigned Applied ezITV evaluation.
  3. Continue with completing the information on the Property underwriting screens.
  4. Click Quote on the options bar or Quote > Process Quote on the menubar to proceed with the quote.

    Note: If there is missing or incomplete required information, the Validation tab displays with the needed information. The Validation tab also displays missing information that is recommended for quote accuracy.
  5. The Premium Summary screen displays all company quotes.

The following information displays in the columns on the Premium Summary screen:

  1. To see the quote details for that company and form, click on the carrier name next to the appropriate form on the Premium Summary screen. Alternatively, you can click on the form under the appropriate carrier in the list of carriers that display on the left side of the screen.
  2. The details of the quote for the selected carrier and form are displayed.

    Note: If there are Policy and/or Risk related messages that pertain to this quote for the selected company, a Message section displays below the Rates section. It is important to review them since they contain important information regarding the quote. For example, a risk may not qualify even though a quote was generated with the company; the messages displayed here will tell you whether or not they qualify.
  3. Click Save or File > Save to save the quote, and then exit the screen.
  4. The Applied ezITV iClarify Assignment screen displays. The first dropdown defaults with the carrier you saved the quote with. If the field is blank, select the insurer you intend to place this business with or Unknown from the dropdown list.

    Note: If the intended carrier changes, relaunch the quote and choose the appropriate carrier.
  1. Click the second dropdown menu and select either New Business or Renewal Business and click OK.

    The Applied ezITV is saved with the policy quote, and the quote can found in the Quote Summary list for the selected client.
