The Credit Score web service takes into account the applicant’s credit score when processing auto or property premium(s), thus accurately reflecting the nature of the risk inherent in the policy.
The Additional Customer Information screen captures all necessary data to obtain the applicant’s credit score. The screen displays only if the insurance carriers that your brokerage is licensed for use a credit score to help assess risk and determine a premium.
Information collected on this screen will be used to populate the applicant’s information in both AutoRater and PropertyRater. The first, middle, last name, address, postal code, city, province and home phone number will be carried over using entries from the client information.
Carriers may be either selected or deselected from the Additional Customer Information screen for the credit score service.
Note: Deselecting a carrier may result in inaccurate premiums for those that have been unselected. Review your individual quote summary for additional messages based on the result of the participating companies.
