Perform an Applied ITV Evaluation
- Start by creating or locating a client from Desktop Navigation
in Applied Rating Services
- To create a new client, click the New
Client button on the options bar, click the Add button in the Client
Information section, or click Client
> New on the menubar. Then enter the client information
and click OK.
Note:
If your brokerage has the Prefill licence, use the Prefill
feature located at the bottom to prefill the client information.
- To locate an existing client, complete one of the following
workflows:
- Access a client by clicking the Locate
button on the options bar, then
- Click the dropdown menu to select other search criteria
or click the Advanced
button to add multiple search criteria.
- Enter your search criteria in the
Search
field
- Select the client in the Results
list
- Access a client by using the Locate
option in the Client
menu on the menubar.
- Click Client
> Locate on the menubar.
- Click the dropdown arrow to select other search criteria;
click the plus sign to add additional search criteria
if needed.
- Enter your search criteria in the Search
field.
- Click the Locate
button.
- In the Results
list, select the client and click
OK.
- Do one of the following to launch Applied ITV:
From
Desktop Navigation
From
within PropertyRater
- The Applied ITV Software End
User License Agreement displays. To have the screen display
in French, click the Français
radio button. Once you have finished reading the licence agreement,
click the Accept
button to continue to the next screen.
Note: This
screen will not show if the Do not
show this message again checkbox was checked before. Select
the Do not show
this message again checkbox to prevent this screen from displaying
in the future.
- The
Address Lookup screen displays, prompting you to select an
address. If a valid address was entered on the client information
screen, the address displays in the list. If the address that was
entered cannot be found, suggested valid addresses display in the
list.
Note: You
can enter a different address if the address you want to evaluate
is not in the list.
- Select an address in the list to evaluate and click Select Address to continue.
- The Applied ITV details
screen displays, showing information for the selected address. The
screen consists of the following areas:
Address
Dwelling
Information tab
The following actions can be performed from
here:
Revise
the Predicted Construction Data
View
the Property
Fire
Underwriters Survey
- Once you are finished with the evaluation, click the Save button on the options bar and click
File > Exit.
- The Applied
ITV Assignment screen displays. Click the first dropdown
and select the insurer
you intend to place this business with or select Unknown
if you are not yet certain.
Note: If
the intended carrier changes, re-launch the quote and choose the appropriate
carrier.
- Click the second dropdown and select New
Business or Renewal
Business, and then click OK.
- Click Yes
to save and return to the Desktop or PropertyRater depending on where
Applied ITV was launched.
Note: If
you do not click Yes, the
system will not save this Applied ITV report.
- The Applied ITV is saved and it can found in the Quote
Summary list for the selected client if Applied ITV was launched
from Desktop Navigation. If launched from within PropertyRater, the
Applied ITV button displays
a green checkmark indicating an evaluation was completed for this
quote.
