PropertyRater Help

Under Help in PropertyRater, you have the ability to view carrier specific Ratings, Coverage Charts, Discounts/Surcharges, and Extended Coverages details.

Ratings

1. To access Rating Definitions, click Help > Ratings on the Menu bar on the Underwriting, Premium Summary or Carrier Details screens.
2. On the Rating Definitions screen, select a carrier in the Select Carrier dropdown.
3. View the Rating Definitions for the carrier selected. Click the Print button to print the rating definitions for the carrier selected, if needed.
4. Once you are finished, click the OK button to close the screen.

Coverage Charts

1. To access Coverage Charts, click Help > Coverage Chart on the Menu bar on the Underwriting, Premium Summary or Carrier Details screens.
2. On the Coverage Chart Help screen, select a carrier in the Select Carrier dropdown
3. View the coverage chart for the carrier selected. Click the Print button to print the coverage chart for the selected carrier if needed.
4. Once you are finished, click the OK button to close the screen.

Discounts / Surcharges

To access Discounts / Surcharges click Help > Discounts / Surcharges on the menubar on the Underwriting, Premium Summary or Carrier Details screens.

From this screen a search can be done By Carrier or By Discount/Surcharge.

Search by Carriers

1. The By Carrier radio button is selected by default. The default carrier choice is alphabetical; if needed, click in the dropdown menu to select a different carrier from the list.
2. All discounts / surcharges supported by the selected carrier in PropertyRater display alphabetically. Scroll down to view them all.
   
   Note: Select a discount/surcharge from the list on the right to jump directly to the description of the selected discount/surcharge for the selected carrier.
3. The discount/surcharge information displays. Click the Print button to print the discount/surcharge information if needed.
4. Click the OK button to close the screen.

Search by Discount/Surcharge

1. Select the By Discount/Surcharge radio button. The default Discount/Surcharge is alphabetical; if needed, click in the dropdown menu to select a different discount or surcharge from the list.
2. All carriers that support the selected discount/surcharge display alphabetically. The underwriting details for the selected discount/surcharge is included.
   
   Note: Select a carrier from the list on the right to jump directly to the description of the selected discount/surcharge for the selected carrier.
3. The discount/surcharge information displays. Click the Print button to print the discount/surcharge information, if needed.
4. Click the OK button to close the screen.

Extended Coverages

To access Extended Coverage definitions, click Help > Extended Coverages on the menubar on the Underwriting, Premium Summary, or Carrier Details screens. From this screen, you can perform a search By Carrier or By Extended Coverage.

Search by Carriers

1. The By Carrier radio button is selected by default. The default carrier choice is alphabetical; if needed, click in the dropdown menu to select a different carrier from the list.
2. All discounts / surcharges supported by the selected carrier in Property Rater display alphabetically. Scroll down to view them all.
   
   Note: Select a discount/surcharge from the list on the right to jump directly to the description of the selected discount/surcharge for the selected carrier.
3. The discount/surcharge information displays. Click the Print button to print the discount/surcharge information if needed.
4. Click the OK button to close the screen.

Search by Extended Coverage

1. The Extended Coverage radio button is selected by default. The default Extended Coverage choice is alphabetical; if needed, click in the dropdown menu to select a different extended coverage from the list.
2. All carriers that cover/offer the selected extended coverage in PropertyRater display alphabetically with their underwriting. Scroll down to view them all.
   
   Note: Select a carrier from the list on the right to jump directly to that carrier’s underwriting details for the selected extended coverage.
3. The extended coverage information displays. Click the Print button to print the extended coverage information, if needed.
4. Click the Close button to close the screen.
