PropertyRater Premium Adjustments

Applied Rating Services provides you the ability to apply premium adjustments by policy premium or dwelling to your property quote on the Quote Results Carrier Breakdown screen.

Note: Adjusted premiums will display in red on the Quote Results Carrier Breakdown screen to indicate they have been modified.

Adjust by Policy Premium

1. To access Premium Adjustments on the Quote Results Carrier Breakdown screen, do one of the following:

• Click Prem Adj on the options bar
• Click Tools on the menubar and select Premium Adjustment
  
  Note: The Policy Premium radio button is selected by default.

2. Enter a description of the premium adjustment.
3. Click the Adjustment Type dropdown menu to select +, -, or x
4. Click the Value Type dropdown menu to select % or $.
5. Enter the Adjustment Value.
6. Click OK to apply the premium adjustment.
   
   Note: The adjusted policy premium will be previewed in the upper right of the screen

Adjust by Dwelling

1. To access Premium Adjustments on the Quote Results Carrier Breakdown screen, do one of the following:

• Click Prem Adj on the options bar
• Click Tools on the menubar and select Premium Adjustment

2. Enter in a description of the premium adjustment.
3. Select the Dwelling radio button.
   
   Note: The dwellings on the property quote display in the Adjustments section.
4. Click the Adjustment Type dropdown menu to select +, -, or x
5. Click the Value Type dropdown menu to select % or $.
6. Enter the Adjustment Value.
7. Click OK to apply the premium adjustment.
   
   Note: The adjusted policy premium preview displays in the upper right of the screen.
