Diary
Diaries enable you to enter notes with helpful information regarding
an insured account. To access the Diaries
area (this area displays only if the Insured
Notes feature is activated for your organization):
- Locate the
desired account.
- Click Account
Detail > Diary in the navigation panel.
Add a Diary
- Click the Add button.
- The Diary Date defaults
to today's date but can be modified.
- Select a Type
to assign to this diary. Diary types can be used to sort the
diary list.
If the appropriate Type is
not available in the dropdown list, click the Add button next to the field to
create a new diary type. Enter the new Type
in the popup window and click OK.
- Enter the diary text in the Note
field.
- Select the Send
Email to CSR checkbox if you wish to send a copy of the diary
notation to the account’s CSR.
- Click Save
to add the diary or Cancel
to discard changes.
Edit a Diary
- Locate the appropriate diary. You can narrow the diaries that display
by entering a portion of the diary text in the Note
field or selecting a particular diary Type
and clicking search.
- Click any of the information listed for the diary.
- Click Edit.
- Make the desired changes to the Diary
Date, Type, and Note
fields, and select/deselect the Send
Email to CSR checkbox as necessary. See the instructions
under Add a Diary for more information.
- Click Save
to apply your changes or Cancel to
discard them. The Updated
field within diary detail, showing the date, time, and username
from the diary's last update, is changed accordingly.
