The following features may or may not be enabled, depending on how your organization has set up Applied CSR24. For more information on implementing any of these options, contact Applied Systems.
Applied Epic Attachments Check: To ensure that attachments brought into Applied CSR24 from Applied Epic are kept up to date, organizations using the Applied Epic Attachment integration feature can now have CSR24 run a check when an insured is first selected to see if any Epic attachments that are already in the insured’s library in Applied CSR24 have been dated off in the management system so you can take appropriate action against the document. The attachment names display in a pop-up window.
Background Renewals: Provide the option to process and send certificate renewals in the "background," allowing you to work in other areas of Premium Certificates or to close your browser while the renewal completes.
Certificate Approval: Create a certificate template and then send a notification to a Producer or CSR who has permission to approve it. You can also filter for approved, unapproved, or all certificate templates when searching the Certificate Templates list.
Certificate Contacts: Maintain a list of contacts that can be selected from a lookup when entering your organization's contact information on certificate templates.
Certificate Footer: Print a certificate footer of up to 60 characters on the bottom left of the first page of any CSIO Liability Certificate, CSIO Property Certificate, ACORD 25 Certificate of Liability Insurance (2016/03), ACORD 27 Evidence of Property Insurance (2009/12), and/or ACORD 28 Evidence of Commercial Property insurance (2016/03).
Certificate Form Restriction: Make certain forms/form editions unavailable for selection when creating certificate templates. This can be enabled at the organizational level, the brokerage level, or the branch level.
Certificate Instructions: Display insured-specific instructions in a popup window to servicing personnel issuing certificates. Also, display insured-specific instructions on a separate screen to personnel before they perform renewals or batch issuances.
Certificate Signature Restriction: Make certain signatures unavailable for selection when creating certificate templates. This can be enabled at the organizational level, the brokerage level, or the branch level.
Coverage Value Maximum Restrictions: To ensure that certificates issued do not exceed policy coverage, you can restrict coverage values entered on a template to not exceed the maximum value for the coverage on assigned policies. When a policy value is exceeded, the limit indicator at the end of the text field turns red. Hovering over the field shows a tool tip explaining the validation errors that apply to the field. If this option is turned on, all coverage value fields are restricted from exceeding the maximum value.
CSR24 Secure Mail: Require brokerage users to enter their Premium Certificates login credentials in order to access Applied CSR24 notifications.
Description of Operations Custom Field Text Order: Any custom field in Premium Certificates set to fill into the Description of Operations during the certificate issuance process can be set to display at the beginning of the Description of Operations section instead of at the end of the text as is the default for custom fields. This option can be applied to new custom fields or applied to existing custom fields.
Distribution Integration: Specify a different brokerage email address to be used for each type of request an insured can make via Self-Service. An additional fee is associated with this feature.
External/Brokerage Mail Server: Redirect emails generated by Applied CSR24 through your brokerage's mail server rather than using the CSR24 mail server.
Failed Email Report: This report identifies automated emails that were not received. It displays the Sender, Date, Insured, Recipient, and Failed Reason for any email sent from Applied CSR24 that failed. Note that this report is available only to organizations using CSR24 as sender for the agency/ brokerage emails (Mail-Server@csr24.email).
Faxing: Fax certificates and Vehicle Liability Cards from Applied CSR24. This feature must be turned on in order to enable fax fields and fax distribution options throughout the system. A per page fee is associated.
Global Holders: Maintain a list of Holders that can be selected when issuing certificates for any insured.
Group Code Appended to Desc of Ops: Automatically add the group code for the selected Holder to the end of the Description of Operations text when issuing a certificate. You must have group codes enabled. (See Optional Library Items.)
Group Code Required: Make Group Code a required field in Holder detail. You must have group codes enabled. (See Optional Library Items.)
Group Code Restricted to List: Enable field validation for the Group Code in Holder detail (meaning you must select from a list of group codes stored in the Library rather than typing into the field). You must have group codes enabled. (See Optional Library Items.)

Insured Fax Disable Option: Prevent insureds from faxing certificates/Vehicle Liability Cards from Self-Service. This can be overridden for individual insureds by selecting Enable Fax for this Insured in insured account detail. This feature applies only if the Faxing feature is also enabled.
Insured Lookup: To allow you to quickly add the appropriate named insured for a template and to prevent manual entry, Certificate Templates has an Insured Name lookup option on the most recent version of all ACORD forms. To use this feature, click the Lookup link in the Insured section of the certificate template. Enter the Location No., Description, Address, or State/Province if you wish to filter the list, and click to highlight the correct insured.
Insured Notes: Create and save diary entries on insured accounts. These are informational for the brokerage only; they are not insured-facing and do not display outside of the Diaries area in Premium Certificates.
Job Location Summary: Track job and location information for holders without adding the data to the Description of Operations field. This setting is used in conjunction with the Allow Insured to Edit Job Location Summary and Print Control? checkbox in the Insured Details section to specify whether or not insureds should be able to modify the field from Self-Service. If you opt to print the Job Location Summary, it displays as the first item in the Description of Operations for the certificate issued.
Lock Down Cancellation Field: Prevent the Cancellation section from being edited on any certificate template.
Logging, Writeback, and Sync for Applied TAM, Applied Epic, or Applied Vision: Use the Log, Sync, and Att options available for menu items to write information to your brokerage management system when they are selected by insureds. Applies only if you use TAM Sync, Epic Sync, or Vision Sync.

MGA Portal Access: Allows the selection of CSRs and Producers as portal users in the CSR24 Clients section. Once a portal user is tied to a CSR or Producer, initiating a portal transaction by that user displays all insureds associated with that CSR or producer.
Mobile: Assign Applied Mobile licenses to producers set up in Premium Certificates. Applied Mobile is a separate product from Applied CSR24, and it must be purchased in order to activate this feature.
Modify Liability Coverage Check: This feature allows you to specify whether liability should be checked at the policy level or on each vehicle record when an Liability Card is issued. If your brokerage decides to use this feature, the program will check for liability coverage on the policy and then verify that there are coverages specified for each vehicle for before issuing an Liability Card.
Multi-Factoring Authentication: In order to comply with cybersecurity regulations in the state of New York in the USA, Multi-Factoring Authentication was added for manual logins to Applied CSR24 Premium Certificates. When you log in without using SSO, an email is sent to the email address associated with the login.
Multiple Named Insureds: Allow a corporate client to issue certificates with different locations/sub-entities listed as insureds. Some guidelines for using this feature:
Named Insureds Import: To allow you to better control your Named Insured list using contacts in Applied Epic, any contact in Applied Epic that has the phrase Named Insured as part of the Description in Contact Detail imports into Applied CSR24 as a Named Insured.
No Reissues: Shows only the most recent version of the issued certificate for the most recent template holder combination.
Prior to the activation of No Reissue, all certificates generated are viewable by brokerage and insured users. This includes all previously issued and reissued certificates.
Once No Reissued is activated, only the most recent certificate issued for a holder and template combination display in the Previously Issued Certificates area.
Prior versions of reissued certificates are available for brokerage view by searching for the certificate number that can be found on the certificate in the Previously Issued Certificates area or within the Issued Certificate Detail report. A brokerage can reproduce all certificates issued, including those suppressed by the No Reissued option from the Reprint Certs or Zip Certs sections of Applied CSR24.
Optional Library Items: Use the Library to store text items other than Description of Operations text, such as group codes, vehicle types, and deductibles.
Organizational Structure Copied from Applied Epic: This options allows Organizational Structure access to be taken from the Structure tab in User Configuration rather than the Account tab in Employee Detail in Applied Epic and applied to the corresponding users in Applied CSR24 to more accurately reflect the desired structure access for employees. Once enabled, make the corresponding selections in the Default Security for Agency Users section in Agency/Brokerage Setup.
PaperWise Integration: Use the PaperWise document management system to share documents via Self-Service. Activating this feature enables a menu item that can be added to insured start pages. An additional fee is associated with this feature.
Policy Information Refresh:
In order to eliminate the need to manually update certificate templates
when a change is made to a policy, policy information in certificate templates
refreshes automatically if any changes occur to the policy number, carrier,
or inception/expiration date.
Note:
Since policy updates in the management system trigger this change, Applied
TAM policies with a new expiration date will not reflect this enhancement,
since they come in as separate, new policies.
Suppress Agency Confirmation for
Writeback Transactions: Disables brokerage email notifications
of service request transactions (report of a claim, policy change request,
add vehicle request, etc.). Before you activate this feature, all transactions
generate an email notification back to the brokerage representative. After
you activate this feature, only the activity is generated where applicable.
Important! Applied strongly discourages
disabling Writeback transactions. You can discuss alternative options
with Applied Customer Support.
Text Library Lock Down: Prevent insureds from editing the Description of Operations text when issuing certificates via Self-Service; they are permitted only to select from Description of Operations text stored in your Library.
