Leads Inbox

For increased efficiency and a seamless connected experience, Leads Inbox enables you to import and manage leads obtained from Applied WebRater, third-party lead vendors, or your brokerage’s custom-built data capture or rating platform. To view the available lines of business, click here. Depending on the data that imported leads contain, you can automatically create personal lines accounts, contacts, and policies (policy headers only).

Leads Inbox provides a convenient view of your leads, with filtering options to help you review and manage the ones that are most relevant to you. Review each lead’s information and determine whether to import it into the system manually, archive it, or purge it. Both leads that have imported automatically and those that require manual processing display in Leads Inbox.

To access the Leads Inbox from the Home screen, do one of the following:

Managing Your View

Leads Inbox populates with all of your leads, including leads that have already imported. A red dot displays in the header (as well as next to the Import Failed option in the view filter menu and beside individual leads) when new leads have failed to import and require attention. Access a view filter option that displays Import Failed leads to review them. Selecting a lead removes the indicator from it. Once you have viewed all of them, the indicator is removed from Leads Inbox.

Ten leads display per page. If more than 10 leads are available, use the First, Previous, Next, and Last buttons to scroll through the pages, or select a page number. To keep your list of leads up to date, click the Refresh link label.

By default, Open leads display. If necessary, you can change your view filter selection, perform a search, apply filters with a custom view, or reorder or remove list columns.

Reviewing Lead details

The details section displays additional information about the selected lead (if its status is Imported or Import Failed), beyond the information displayed in the list. If the lead failed to import, you can view details on the portions of the import that succeeded and the point in the process at which the import failed.

From the details section, you can do the following:

Available workflows

From Leads Inbox, you can complete the import process or archive, purge, or restore leads. Each lead’s Lead Status determines the workflows available. Click one of the following buttons:

Import Lead

Leads that are not configured to import automatically display in Leads Inbox, as well as any leads configured for automated import that did not import successfully. To import one of these leads manually, select it and click the Import Lead button.

For detailed instructions on importing a lead manually, see Import a Lead.

Archive Lead

If you do not plan to act on an Open, Imported, or Import Failed lead and it is no longer necessary, select it and click the Archive button to move it from its current list to the Archived view. If your organization has enabled Automated Archive in Automated Actions Configuration, leads that remain Open for the number of days specified are archived automatically. Automated archiving does not affect Imported or Import Failed leads.

Purge Lead

If you no longer need an individual Archived lead, select it and click the Purge Lead button to delete it permanently. Leads with an Entered Date older than the number of days specified in Automated Actions Configuration are purged automatically.

Restore Lead

If you have archived a lead in error, select it and click the Restore Lead button to move it back to the Open list.
