Download Results

The Download Results area provides a convenient read-only view of Communication Log information, with filtering options to help you review and manage the downloaded items that are most relevant to you and diagnose any problems with your download. From this area, you can also recall transactions from Ivans Exchange that were not processed during Download (for example, because of an incorrect IBC code or an eDoc code that was not set up in Company Interface Configuration).

Note: You can only recall transactions if you have access to your CSIO mailbox through Applied Ivans Exchange. For more information on setting up a connection between CSIO and Applied Ivans Exchange, see Mailbox Configuration.

Note: This article contains printing instructions that are only applicable if Applied Epic is installed locally on your computer. If you access Epic through a web browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge, you cannot print directly from within the system. See Printing for more information about the printing capabilities available from Epic Browser. All other steps in this article are applicable to both methods of accessing Epic unless stated otherwise.

  1. To access Download Results, do one of the following:

From any other area of the program, do one of the following:

  1. Click Interface Management on the navigation panel or Areas > Interface Management on the menubar.
  2. Click Download Results on the navigation panel.

Customizing the View

You can customize the download results that initially populate in the list and then apply additional filtering as necessary. Your Session and Section selections are saved when you exit Download Results, and they default the next time you access this area.

  1. Select the Session for which you want to review download results (either All sessions or sessions within a specific time frame).
  2. Select the download type you want to view from the Section dropdown menu:
  3. Deselect the Include errors checkbox if you do not want to view errors in your search results. If you selected Errors in the Section dropdown menu, you cannot deselect this checkbox.
  4. Click Locate to display the results.

Filtering Results

Download Results display based on your Locate selections above. The list displays 25 items per page by default, but you can change this selection if you prefer. If additional pages of items are available, use the First Page, Previous Page, Next Page, and Last Page buttons to scroll through them, or select a page number from the dropdown menu. If necessary, use the search bar to display Download Results that meet specific criteria.

If you filter the list by Status Detail Code or Status Detail, you can view the list of codes or reasons that the items in Download Results failed to update, or view a complete list of all possible codes and reasons. However, only codes and reasons from the current page of results populate in the Status Detail Lookup by default.

To apply a single filter, use the Search where fields, or apply multiple filters using the Edit Filter button .

You can save your currently applied filters as Filter Defaults for Download Results. Your filter defaults are unique to your user code and will not affect other users’ saved defaults.

To change the columns that display in the list, click the Select Columns link label in the header.

To sort the list, click the column heading by which you want to sort. Click the column heading again to change the sort order (from ascending to descending or vice versa).

To print the current page of items, click the Print button to the left of the list. Print the list as you would any other document. To export the list to a CSV file, select the Generate CSV checkbox in the Print pop-up and click OK. The CSV file opens in Microsoft Excel.

To export all pages in the current list to a CSV file, click File > Print > Print All Pages to CSV on the menubar or Print > Print All Pages to CSV on the options bar.

Review Download Results and Details

Use the information in the Details section to help you determine why an item failed or is in suspense. The information available in Details varies, depending on the download type selected. If an error or session conflict occurred during download processing, the Message frame or Message field indicates the reason for the failure.

Add any information pertaining to the selected item (such as the reason the item failed) in the Comments field. Comments added in Assign Items in Suspense when the item was processed are retained and display on the Download Results item. You can revise or remove these comments if needed. Comments added in Download Results do not transfer to the items in Suspense. To save a comment, click the Save button on the options bar or select a different item in the list.

The Status Detail Code and Status Detail columns provide the reason each suspended item is in Suspense. For instructions on accessing a complete list of Status Details in Download Results, see the Filtering Results section.

Recall Transactions from Ivans Exchange

If any files fail during Download processing (resulting in an error on the Communication Log), you can recall policy or eDocs & Messages Download transactions from the Download Results screen using the Recall from Ivans link label. Recalled items are downloaded from the mailbox with the next CSIO job (instant, scheduled, or manual). You can only recall items sent via Ivans, not ADI items or items downloaded via BUFF.

To recall items, complete the following steps:

  1. Select one or more items in the Download Results list. To select multiple items, hold the [Ctrl] key while clicking.
  2. Click the Recall from Ivans link label.

If you need to stop an item from being recalled, you can cancel the recall, as long as you cancel it before the next CSIO run. If your organization is set up for Instant Download, the window for cancelling a recall may be small.

To cancel a recalled item, complete the following steps:

  1. Select the item in the Download Results list. To select multiple items, hold the [Ctrl] key while clicking.
  2. Click the Cancel Recall link label.
