Auto Capitalization Configuration

You can apply capitalization automatically to many fields for proper names throughout the system, ensuring consistency and professionalism in your communications.

The corrections that auto capitalization makes are convenient in most cases, but if it does not produce the desired results for a particular name, you can override it by tabbing or clicking out of the field, clicking in it again, and editing the capitalization of the name manually.

This screen displays differently depending on the way you access Applied Epic (from a web browser or from the desktop interface). The browser-specific version only displays if your organization does not have Active Directory authentication enabled in Login Configuration.

Note: This article contains printing instructions that are only applicable if Applied Epic is installed locally on your computer. If you access Epic through a web browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge, you cannot print directly from within the system. See Printing for more information about the printing capabilities available from Epic Browser. All other steps in this article are applicable to both methods of accessing Epic unless stated otherwise.
