Items added with this function display in the Description dropdown menu next to the Carrier response field when you add a carrier response to a marketed policy.
Note: This article contains printing instructions that are only applicable if Applied Epic is installed locally on your computer. If you access Epic through a web browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge, you cannot print directly from within the system. See Printing for more information about the printing capabilities available from Epic Browser. All other steps in this article are applicable to both methods of accessing Epic unless stated otherwise.
From the Home screen, do one of the following:
From any other area of the program, do one of the following:
Click the down arrow to the right of the Home options bar button and select Configure.
Click Home > Configure on the menubar. The Configure screen displays.
Click to highlight
the response for which you want to add a description.
Note: Descriptions
added will be available only for the selected response. If you add
"Risk too high" to the "Declined" response, for
example, Risk too high will
not display as a Description option if Quote
is the response.
To require selection
from a list in the Description
field when a carrier response is added, select the Enable field validation radio button.
If you select Disable field validation, the Description
field will allow freeform text.
