Organization Configuration

Organization Configuration allows you to enter and view agency, branch, department, and profit center combinations in your system. For example, Agency 1 is associated with Branches 1 and 2; Departments 1, 2, and 3; and Profit Center 2.

You must add individual structure levels to Applied Epic before setting up organizations.

Note: This article contains printing instructions that are only applicable if Applied Epic is installed locally on your computer. If you access Epic through a web browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge, you cannot print directly from within the system. See Printing for more information about the printing capabilities available from Epic Browser. All other steps in this article are applicable to both methods of accessing Epic unless stated otherwise.

  1. From the Home screen, click Configure on the navigation panel.

From any other area of the program, do one of the following:

  1. Click Structure > Organization on the navigation panel. The View frame displays to the right of the navigation panel.
  2. To view all of the combinations associated with a specific agency, branch, department, or profit center, select the appropriate Agency, Branch, Department, or Profit Center in the dropdown menus. To narrow the results, you can make a selection in more than one field.
  3. Click Locate. The results display in the list. To sort the results by a different column, click the column heading. To sort in descending order, click the column heading again. Besides viewing combinations, you can do the following:
