Notifications Report

The On Demand > Notifications Report is available from the Home screen. It allows you to view your own notifications and any other employees’ notifications that you have permission to access. Each notification’s details depend on the corresponding job and its success or failure. Please be aware that expired notifications more than 24 hours old are cleared, and the system purges jobs that are no longer active and are more than seven days old, so the report will not include these notifications.

You can specify whether to receive notifications for unsuccessful jobs, successful jobs, or both in Notifications Configuration. Applied recommends enabling at least unsuccessful notifications so you can address any failures promptly. Without unsuccessful notifications, there is no way to know of failed jobs, such as undeliverable emails sent through Distribution Manager.

Note: This article contains printing instructions that are only applicable if Applied Epic is installed locally on your computer. If you access Epic through a web browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge, you cannot print directly from within the system. See Printing for more information about the printing capabilities available from Epic Browser. All other steps in this article are applicable to both methods of accessing Epic unless stated otherwise.

  2. In the Notification Report pop-up window, select the Summary or Full detail radio button to indicate the level of detail you want in the report.

  4. By default, the report will run for all employees whose notifications you have permission to access, but you can filter it to display only certain employees (as well as your own notifications) by choosing the Selected radio button and adding or removing employees as needed.
  5. Click the Preview button to open the Print Preview screen. If necessary, you can do any of the following:
