Manually Process Activities

Use this tool to process activities manually per agency-branch combination. Processing activities executes the follow-up actions defined in the activity detail. For information on scheduling activities to process automatically, see Process Activities.

Note: This article contains printing instructions that are only applicable if Applied Epic is installed locally on your computer. If you access Epic through a web browser such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge, you cannot print directly from within the system. See Printing for more information about the printing capabilities available from Epic Browser. All other steps in this article are applicable to both methods of accessing Epic unless stated otherwise.

  1. From the Home screen, do one of the following:
     

From any other area of the program, do one of the following:

  1. Click Activities on the navigation panel or Areas > Activities on the menubar.

  2. Click Manually Process Activities on the navigation panel.

  3. A list of agency-branch combinations displays. Click on the agency-branch for which you wish to schedule a time to process activities.

    In the Distribution Manager Alternates section, select the Queue printed items checkbox if you want to queue the items to be printed later. If this checkbox is not selected, documents print as specified on the Distribution tab in Attachment Template Configuration.

    To print the communications resulting from this procedure immediately, make a selection in the Printer dropdown menu. The printer selected in Process Activities Configuration defaults in this field.

    Enter a Fax number (and an Ext if applicable) if you also want to send the resulting documents to a fax machine.

    Error reports will be sent to all recipients listed in the Error Report section:

    Click Finish to save your changes.

Click Cancel if you do not wish you save your changes. You are prompted, "Do you wish to discard changes?" Click Yes.
